Curriculum Vitae
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in “Politics and Law” from the University of Münster (2010) and a Master’s degree in “German, European, and Global Politics” from the University of Bonn (2013), graduating with distinction. I completed my PhD (Dr. phil.) summa cum laude at the University of Bonn as valedictorian of the Faculty of Arts Class of 2018/19. In January 2025, I completed my habilitation at the University of Bonn, being awarded the degree Dr. phil. habil. and bestowed the Venia Legendi as Privatdozent (Priv.-Doz.).
Various study, research, and teaching stays have taken me to leading universities around the world: For example, during my Master’s, I studied abroad in the United Kingdom at the University of Southampton in 2011/12. In 2017, I was Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and in 2022, I was Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University.
Since September 2023, I have been Non-resident Visiting Distinguished Fellow at the Center for Global Affairs (CGA) at New York University.
