Teaching
I have been teaching undergraduate and graduate classes (lectures, seminars, and tutorials) as well as advising Bachelor’s (BA) and Master’s (MA) theses at the University of Bonn since summer term 2013, especially on: International Relations theory; individual agency in history and global politics; power, power shifts, and soft power; transatlantic and German-American relations; U.S. foreign affairs and the U.S. presidency; German foreign policy and Europe’s role in the world.

I have held guest lectureships at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milano (since May 2021), the University of St Andrews (October 2019 & March/April 2023), and Leiden University (February/March 2016).
A recipient of the prestigious University of Bonn’s Teaching Award for the academic year 2017/18, I have furthermore been twice awarded the Teaching Award by the University of Bonn’s Political Science & Sociology Student Council (2014 & 2021).
